The Amflo 25-24-RET PVC lead-in air hose has a 1/4" ID and is 24" long. It is designed to absorb the frequent pulsations and vibrations of air compressors and pulsating pneumatic tools, prolonging the life of the hose and its fittings. Its blue PVC (polyvinyl chloride) tube and cover provide resistance to abrasion, weathering, moisture, alkalis and weak acids, and its braided nylon reinforcement provides the strength necessary to reach and maintain its maximum pressure rating of 300 pounds per square inch (psi). This hose is capable of functioning effectively at temperatures ranging from -20 to +145 degrees F, and it comes equipped with one 1/4" factory-installed brass female National Pipe Thread Taper (NPT) fitting and one 1/4" factory-installed brass ball-swivel male NPT fitting for protection against damage caused by movement at the tool end. This hose is suitable for a wide range of commercial and industrial pneumatic applications where frequent pulsation and vibration occurs, such as with air compressors, impact tools, and nail guns, among others.
Industrial hoses transfer or convey air or liquid in hose systems. When selecting industrial hoses, use the STAMPED method:
S = Size (ID, OD, and length) |
T = Temperature (maximum and minimum temperatures of material being transported) |
A = Application (industry or process) |
M = Material (to be conveyed, type and concentration) |
P = Pressure (maximum working pressure) |
E = Ends (type of end connectors or couplings on hose) |
D = Delivery method (volume and velocity) |
