The Amprobe PY-1A Voltage Tester is compact and easy to use. Designed for the professional electrician and home user alike, this solidly built electrical tester will deliver years of trouble-free service. The bright series of neon lights indicates the detected AC voltage at 120, 240, 277, and 480V and DC voltage at 160, 330, 380V and 600V. Using the two integrated test leads, the unit automatically displays detected AC or DC voltage from receptacles, appliances, computers, wire cables, circuit breakers, junction boxes, and other electrical circuits. The test probes can be snapped into the back of the unit for convenient storage or for one-handed receptacle testing. The unit is designed for use on both energized and non-energized circuits and includes a test current of up to 3.5mA. It is powered by two alkaline AAA batteries (included) and meets European Standards (EN) 61010-1 Category III 600V. The PY-1A is designed for use by professional electricians, appliance technicians and home users.
