Known as the Gem of the Congo, Dioptase is often mistaken for Emerald due to its intense color and amazing crystalline structure. It was named by Hauy in 1797 after the Greek words meaning "through" and "to see" due to the stunning way the crystal clusters and creates internal cleavage. Rather than using tumbled stone, these earrings feature raw Dioptase in all its natural brilliance. It is often said to inspire feelings of healing, self-love and emotional healing after traumatic events.

These earrings can range in size and shape, but will be about 1-3 mm. Each will be unique and stunning. They are all set on solid Sterling Silver posts and adhered with a 2-part marine grade epoxy.
