When do I put the fish in the water?
Option 1) Splicing -- cut off the top 2 inches of a basil plant to put in medium. You can add fish immediately.
Option 2) Included seeds -- Can take 2 weeks to grow 2 inches tall, then it is safe to add fish. If your seeds do not sprout, try green onions or adding the top trimming of a basil plant -- only 20% of any kind of seeds ever sprout.
