Not all 5 volt IP camera uses this plug size. Please make sure the correct plug size by measuring the inside and outside diameter
NOTE - Two common issue experienced when buying a DC power extension cable.

Wrong Plug Size - This is the most common problem. Please check your device by measuring the barrel plug of the power adapter. This will only accept 1.3mm (inside diameter) x 3.5mm (outside diameter) plugs.
1.3mm x 3.5mm plugs are commonly used for small digital device. However, not all wireless IP camera uses 1.3mm x 3.5mm plugs. Please check the plugs size before purchase.

Lack of Power - The longer the cable, the more resistance and power loss, and hence requires more power from power supply. Most commercial products do not provide a strong power adapter. At 20ft length, the power loss is noticeable.
Please make sure you have adequate power supply to use extension cable
