HumidiCup Electronic Humidifier is an automatic humidification system for humidors or cigar cabinets to keep your cigars stored in desired humidity level.
The humidity inside the humidor is measured by highly accurate digital sensors, the micro-processor controls the DC fan according to the measurement and blows moist airflow out when necessary.
The humidifier is factory set at 70%RH and can be adjusted by users to any value between 60% and 80%RH. Three bottoms available for humidity setting and calibration on top of the humidifier. Long press the button C could disable the low water alarm.
How does it work?
The electronic humidifiers are ACTIVE humidifiers. The sensors in the humidifier continuously monitor the humidity levels in the cigar humidor, and the humidifier releases moisture ONLY when the humidity level is lower than a specific level (for example 70RH), so that the humidity can be constantly maintained.
Can it use battery?
Yes, it can use 5V batteries, but only EXTERNAL batteries apply, because there is no built-in battery chamber in the product. However, we do not recommend use the cellphone powerbank, because the power consumption is extremely low while the fan is not working, and most of the powerbanks are not able to handle such low currency and this may affect the humidifier working properly.
