Troubleshooting steps for "Ink not recognized" error or similar message:1- Remove ALL the ink cartridges from the printer
2- Check that there are no residual tapes on the cartridges.
3- Clean the contacts on the cartridges as well as inside the printer itself
NOTE: Clean the contacts with a small amount of warm water on a cotton swab until no ink comes off on the swab.
4- Then, turn the printer off and unplug it for 60 seconds
5- Insert the cartridges back and check to see if the printing issue is resolved
