However, be careful with fishing line as it can snag delicate fins. You can also use super glue or reef glue to attach to a rock. Alternately, you can tie the rhizomes onto a Luffy Moss wall Mesh kit. (link to product) Please note the rhizome should not be buried below the substrate, or they will rot.
How do I take care of new leaflets that sprout on my fern? Leave the new leaflets to grow at their own pace. They will either drop off on their own or you can gently cut them off with a pair of scissors. Make sure to clip off a good portion of the mother leaf tol prevent damage to any parts of the newly forming rhizome. Then you can anchor the new plantlet onto a piece of driftwood; in about two months, it will fasten onto the rock on its own and will continue growing.
