Rated water resistance of 300 meters (almost 1000 feet) allows the Deep Sea to be used really deep, fine for SCUBA diving, and even deeper mixed gas diving with the automatic helium release valve. The elapsed time bezel is made of unscratchable ceramic, a design feature used by far more expensive brands like Omega and Rolex. The crystal is made of highly-scratch resistant sapphire that will look fresh and new even after years of use. The case is made of titanium, which is lighter and tougher than stainless steel. The crown screws down and has double gaskets, making the entire package waterproof.
Inside the watch beats a tough, and accurate Seiko NH36 Japanese made automatic movement. The movement can also be wound with the crown, and at a full wind will run for 40 hours. It will also wind itself from the movement of your wrist, tick off time with a smooth 6 beat per second seconds hand, and last for decades-no batteries will ever be needed. The date is shown at the 3 o clock position on the dial, and the day of the week is displayed by the unique subdial at the 7 o clock position. The elegant and high tech look of the Deep Sea makes it perfect for a day at the office or a deep dive in the warm waters off the Great Barrier Reef.
The strap is made of silicone rubber, and is soft and pliable on the wrist. The Deep Sea comes packaged in the substantial Jiusko Professional hard shell storage case, and also included is a leather card holder that contains the warranty card and manual. A watch cleaning cloth is thoughfully included as well.
Adding all these design details together and you end up with the Jiusko Deep Sea, a watch that shares many of the features of historic brands like Doxa, Rolex and Omega. But unlike these fine brands, the Deep Sea can be yours for a mere fraction of the price.
