First, an automatic measurer operates by turning a dial; with each click of the dial, 1/4 teaspoon of the selected spice or herb cascades from the dispenser s bottom. Second, each dispenser has a shaker top. Finally, each dispenser has an opening large enough to accommodate measuring spoons. (This is also the opening through which you fill the dispensers.)
