Alpha Arbutin - There are two types of Arbutin: Alpha Arbutin & Beta Arbutin. Alpha Arbutin is more expensive & more effective, & is mostly found in "premium" skin whitening products like ours. Beta Arbutin is easier to produce - making it cheaper, but is less expensive & is found in the majority of "non-premium" skin lightening products. The Arbutin in our serum is Alpha Arbutin. Botanically speaking, it outperforms all other bleaching agents found organically including bearberry extract, licorice extract & even Beta Arbutin.*
