FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
1. What is some history behind Matcha?
Matcha is a powdered form of green tea that was first produced during the Tang Dynasty of China. Freshly picked green tea leaves were originally steamed to preserve color and freshness, then dried and finely ground. The tea was then pressed and left to harden. The bright green brick of tea was then broken into cubes and pulverized into powder to be whipped into water, finally producing what we know today as frothy, green Matcha.
