How to use the NobleEgg Timer 1. Put the egg timer in the pot or saucepan with the eggs, in one layer, as shown in one of the pictures.
2. Watch the colors gradually change when the water boils. Depending on the desired degree of softness, take out the eggs while the indicator is in the yellow area. Similarly for medium (orange area) and hard boiled eggs (the dot in the middle is red or white). Experiment until you know at what level you get perfect soft or hard boiled eggs. Check one of the pictures for a visual representation of the process.
3. When the eggs reach the desired level, safely take out the egg timer and let it cool at room temperature while you cool down the eggs in cold water to prevent further passive cooking.
