Similar to the My First Lab Duoscope, the Omano OM117L is a newer, larger and more modern version that also operates as two microscopes in one. Primarily designed as a high power microscope for viewing microscope slides, it can also function with the top light as a monocular dissecting microscope for viewing larger, solid specimens such as insects, coins and and plant life. With all glass optics and variable cool LED illumination, it offers all the magnification required for Elementary and Middle School students. A wide field WF10x eyepiece combines with three achromatic objective lenses, 4x, 10x and 40x to provide magnification of 40x, 100x and 400x. An eyepiece lock nut can be tightened to minimize the risk of loss and the head rotates through 360 degrees as required.
