Pore Cleanser- As a natural astringent rose petal can be used as a pore cleanser to tighten pores and skin. It is therefore excellent for oily skin especially when mixed with herbal rose water but will not strip skin of essential oils and moisture, it will instead rejuvenate skin - combine with orange peel powder and multani mitti.
Haircare - It can also be used for haircare in hair dyes (some people hate the smell of henna and use rose petal powder to give it a rose scent), hair loss treatments and soaps because of its cooling and soothing properties as well as natural fragrance from which we also get rose water.
Suggestions For Use
Rose petal powder is suitable for all skin types including sensitive skin. All masks should be left on for at least an hour. Can be 30 mins but the longer the more beneficial.
Smooth Glowing Complexion - combine with hibiscus powder and multani mitti into a paste and apply to skin.
Skin lightening/Blemish Control - Its natural vitamin c content acts as a natural skin lightener which helps to lighten dark spots and blemishes. Combine with orange peel, liquorice powder and multani mitti.
Cooling Mask - combine with aloe vera, neem, orange peel and tulsi powder.
Rejuvenating/Antiaging Mask - combine with multani mitti, aloe vera, hibiscus, liquorice, manjistha, neem, orange peel and tulsi for a rejuvenating mask which will leave skin clean, clear, fresh, toned and healthy looking.
