This play mat when assembled covers an area 6.5 x 6.5 (78 x78 inches), an area over 42 soft. This baby play mat is large enough for infants learning to crawl, toddlers starting to walk, and parents spending time playing with their kids.
In this play mat, there are 8 Sports Ball Shapes, 1 Solid Blue Tile, 24 sloped borders pieces. Our foam mats are a thick 5/8 inch and thicker than most of the competition, so we created sloped borders that go from the height of the mat to the ground to help prevent tripping while looking great at the same time.
This set does NOT contain small pieces and is safe for all ages! SoftTiles are made in Taiwan from non toxic EVA foam and tested to EN-71 European Safety Standards- free of formamides, BPA, phthalates, lead, etc. Because the Safari Animals foam mats are die-cut, we do not recommend them for use on softer surfaces like higher pile carpet as the pieces can pop up when walked on.
