It s more enjoyable for every pianist when the instrument is in tune. If you accept the challenge to learn this new skill/hobby, there are some really useful tips:
ⅰMute out all the multiple strings on individual notes so you can tune the whole scale of the piano then go back and do the unison strings on each note;
ⅱThe hardest thing is to make sure you are on the correct string: Don t be on the wrong peg, it will fool you into tightening and breaking a string. If you don t hear the note change when you move the lever, even slightly, make sure your have the key on the correct peg;
ⅲ This kit has everything you need to tune your piano except a wrench. If you don t have a good ear, is probably best left to the professionals, but if you do, this is the way to go;
