How does it work: Depending on your car s capability, the OBD lock will work in 1 of the 2 following modes.
Gear Lock Mode: Automatically selected if your car is capable/equipped for this option. When your car is shifted into ""Drive"" or ""Reverse"" gear, all doors will be locked automatically. All doors will be unlocked automatically when the car is shifted back into ""Park"" gear.
Speed Lock Mode: This is the default option if your car is not capable of ""Gear Lock Mode"". When the speed reaches around 10MPH(15Km/h). All doors will be unlocked automatically when the ignition key is turned off or you shifted into ""Park"" gear.
NOTE:
1. The automatic door lock/unlock will be disabled if doors are not properly closed. There is no instruction provided to switch between these 2 options.
2. It is an automated selection process based on your car s capability. Meanwhile, the car directional lights will flash accordingly if doors are detected are not properly closed in ""Drive"" or ""Reverse"" gear. (Some car won t flash lights.)
3. If your car is flameout the cars won t automatically lock . You need to lock the door with you key."
